Journey through the World Wars

Our exciting new daytrip takes a look at the history of our own men & women during the World Wars

First stop:

Lurgan's very own Brownlow House - once used as a WW1 HQ for the 16th Battalion Royal Irish Rifles & the 10th Battalion Royal Irish Fusilliers, as well as a station for British & US troops during WW2. We'll have a guided tour around Brownlow House, and admission to the War Exhibition.

Second stop:

Cavan County Museum is home to numerous exhibits across many conflicts and stages of history as well as a replica WW1 trench, based on plans from the time. You'll get admission to view the exhibits around the museum, and (weather pending) admission to the trench!

All deposits are non- refundable. In the event that the trip cannot proceed we will rearrange for a later date. If this date does not suit then clients will be eligible for a refund. Unfortunately we cannot refund clients due to them testing positive for Covid-19 close to the time of departure. We recommend that if this is something you are concerned about that you take out adequate travel insurance.

Final itineraries are sent to clients 10 days before departure. We reserve the right to make further changes to these itineraries; due to but not limited by weather or traffic disruptions. Please contact the office if you have any accessibility needs. Given the nature of these monuments and places of interests, some adaptions may have to be made to accommodate
